LCP with a retail park in Szubin – the launch of the fifth development project under the M Park umbrella brand in 2024

LCP Properties, belonging to the international real estate investment group M Core, one of the leading investors and developers on the Polish retail park market, has finalized the purchase of another plot of land, with a building permit, from RWS Investment Group, for the future M Park, this time in Szubin near Bydgoszcz. This purchase is also the company's fifth development project in the retail sector announced this year. M Park Szubin, with a total of almost 8,000 sq m and 14 tenants, will also be the 55th retail park under the M Park brand. The opening of M Park Szubin is scheduled for the middle of next year.

The plot of land for the future M Park Szubin is located at Sienkiewicza Street, in the northern part of the city, just 20 minutes from the center of Bydgoszcz. For the convenience of visitors, a spacious parking lot for up to 371 cars will be available. From the perspective of broadly understood ESG aspects, chargers for electric cars will be installed in the park. The project also plans to implement a water saving system. Additionally, M Park Szubin is expected to obtain BREEAM certification at a minimum level of Very Good. 

The agreement with the seller assumes that RWS Investment Group is responsible for issues related to the construction of the retail park. On the other hand, leasing processes are carried out jointly, both by RWS and the leasing department of LCP Properties. Currently, agreements for this location have been signed by brands such as: Lidl, Rossmann, Sinsay, KIK and one of the pet store operators.

There is not much left until its end and I dare say that we will surprise you in the coming weeks. Good cooperation with business partners combined with the secured financing of our capital group M Core allows us to gain an increasingly large market share in the area of ​​retail parks in Poland. This year LCP opened retail parks under the M Park brand in Iława, Reda and Jaroty, near Olsztyn. This year, the opening of a total of 50th retail park under this brand is planned in Pionki. The opening of all those whose commencement of construction was announced this year, i.e. Mrągowo, Bogatynia, Brzeziny, Ropczyce and Szubin, is planned for 2025.
